KOOP AT-BG
The cooperation between Bulgaria and Austria in the field of labour market policy began in the late fall of 2007 with aim of establishing a sustainable, stable and ever expanding network between and the Austrian and Bulgarian institutions and organizations that operate in that sphere. The project aims to facilitate the exchange of information and trigger the discussion of approved solutions and good practices as well as to stimulate the sharing of know-how in specific, contemporary topics in the field of labour market policy.
The project activities include the regular organization of bilateral meetings, consultations, specialized events (workshops, seminars, working visits, conferences and others) and the preparation of joint publications.
The Cooperation is financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Bulgarian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. The project is execute by the consultancy company OESB Consulting Gmbh, Austria in cooperation with the Bulgarian partner-organization Club “Economika 2000” and the Austrian partners IOS Management and the WISDOM Institute (within the framework of the project 2007-2009).
Depending on the specific topics, other experts and organizations, whose expertise relates to the labour market policy, are also invited, such as the Public Employment Services of Austria (AMS), the Bulgarian labour bureaus, representatives of the social partners, experts and partners from the two countries and the European Commission; they cooperate via a network and participate in the realization of the project and the bilateral events.
